The mpiweb.org online community for members is activating a messaging
feature very similar to LinkedIn today. That feature will enable you to
send messages about content or activities and message groups all within
the site, but the messages will arrive in user email inboxes. Like
other social networking sites, you can modify your preferences for email
within your member profile. It's up to you what you'd like to receive.
Please encourage your membership to update their profile and modify
their notification settings in your next regularly scheduled
communication and meetings. |

The day dawned bright with a slight chill as we gathered early in Tarpon
Springs to help build a house for the needy with Habitat for
Humanity. As we arrived, our house supervisor John, very patiently
explained the process to us. Can you imagine explaining the
construction industry process to a bunch of office meeting
professionals? But that he did and 3 of us climbed up on the roof and
laid and hammered shingle, some worked on soffit and the remainder
totally primed and painted that 1500 sq foot home alongside the owner. |
